Orgalim represents Europe’s technology industries – innovative companies spanning the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics, and metal technology branches. Together they represent the EU’s largest manufacturing sector, generating annual turnover of around €2,000 billion, manufacturing one-third of all European exports and providing 11 million direct jobs.

GAMBICA is an affiliate partner of Make UK, the manufacturers’ association. 
This means we are part of a collaborative group of over 60 organisations, sharing information and collectively having an input into Make UK policy consultation and lobbying. Together, this gives GAMBICA and its members a much bigger voice and the benefit of Make UK’s high level access to government ministers and senior civil servants.
Membership allows access to Make UK information and insight plus participation in policy surveys. You will also be offered access to Make UK reports, surveys, selected webinars, podcasts and certain events. We are also able to refer to Make UK experts in trade, employment law and European policy to help answer your queries.
 

 

The EURIS Taskforce is an advisory body for the potential impacts of the changing relationship between the UK and EU for the UK Government, manufacturers and the media. EURIS represents industrial product suppliers covered by the Single Market representing sectors with a turnover of over £110 billion and covers sectors responsible for over 25% of total UK goods imports and exports

 

BSI is appointed by the UK Government as the National Standards Body and represents UK interests at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the European Standards Organizations (CEN, CENELEC and ETSI). Their role is to help improve the quality and safety of products, services and systems by enabling the creation of standards and encouraging their use.

 

The Engineering and Machinery Alliance, EAMA, is an alliance of independent trade associations. It works to achieve shared objectives including talking pro-actively with government and others to achieve good policy-making and implementation, promoting the engineering and manufacturing sector in the UK and promoting the value of its member trade associations

 

The All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group (APMG) exists to encourage the exchange of knowledge and understanding between Parliament and the UK's diverse manufacturing industries, helping to raise the profile of manufacturing both inside and outside of Parliament.

 

Reshoring UK is a unique collaboration of leading industrial engineering associations to assist manufacturers connect with trusted, accredited suppliers capable of delivering products and services that match their requirements. The development of the Reshoring initiative is to encourage engagement with our manufacturing supply chain and to recognise the strength, skills and innovation available to manufacturers in the UK.
