The first GAMBICA guest blog is now live! This new project will allow members to create content about an industry issue that’s important to them. Whether it’s the skills gap, sustainability in our sectors or the importance of standards – we can’t wait to share more thoughts from our members through this platform.

First up - Sam Tilley, Regional General Manager (UK, Ireland & Nordics) at Omron, is joined by Andy Knight, Corporate Partnership Manager at WorldSkills UK, to discuss the apprenticeship training route. The WorldSkills finals are currently taking place in Lyon, and they also talk about OMRON’s involvement in the important competition.

Sam said: “There’s a lot more apprenticeship options that give individuals broader opportunities. I would definitely advise young people to take on an apprenticeship. It gives you the ability to learn and earn, it gives you so many life skills.”
